new tea not for me.

there was a new beverage offering available in the kitchen at work today. excited with the new selection, i quickly picked up a bottle of this new drink. on the label was a picture of a cherry and the description: cherry vanilla red tea. "great!" i thought, "i like cherries! i like tea!" but upon further inspection of the bottle, i saw that it was touted as a "nutritional iced tea for women". while i consider myself man, i figured i wouldn't mind trying a woman's drink--especially if it contained cherry and iced tea. as i poured the first swig into my awaiting mouth, i had to resist the urge to spit out the vile concoction all over my monitor. the ruby red colored tea meant for women was too much for me--proof positive that a drink for women is undrinkable for a real man. interestingly enough, my male coworker sitting next to me didn't seem at all phased by the lady drink.

the importance of being connected

a house is not a home without your computer and a high speed internet connection.
