what tastes better, the cheetos brand cheese puffs or the generic store brand cheesy poofs? five of us set out to test just that late one night. the methodology a double blind experiment: given samples A and B, select which sample you believe is the cheetos brand puff and which one you prefer.

most people claimed to prefer the cheetos version of cheese poof while others were indifferent. unfortunately, this clashed with two people claiming sample B as superior tasting and the real cheetos while the other three claimed sample A was the real deal and better tasting.

takeaway from this experiment? taste your cheesy poofs to determine for yourself if the brand name version is worth paying for.

as for me? the brand name cheetos were by far superior and worth the price premium. as determined in a double blind test!
