times like these

so apparently my job was eliminated today. i'm not out of a job, cause apparently management has already found another role for me. i'm still a little unsure as to how to view this change. on one hand, i feel like i was really learning a lot in my old job. on the other hand, i didn't really enjoy my job, and i certainly wasn't very good at it. i also have a feeling that the new position will probably require less ten, eleven, and twelve hour days and probably a lot less stress. unfortunately, i'll be working under the one manager i managed to piss off in my short time here. and right now, i'm still waiting to find out who my direct manager will be, as one has yet to be determined.

the crazy part of it is that this change has happened before. almost a year ago, when i was interviewing here at company 'i', i was told by the interviewing manager that there might be a change in organization soon. sure enough, before i even started, there was a change from organization of type A to type B. this resulted in a change in my manager to someone i had never met while in the interview process. and now, less than 6 months after starting, we are again changing from organization of type B to something that looks strangely similar to type A. oh the insanity.
