ticket

i got a ticket. at work. well, not a real ticket where i have to pay money or anything. just a form note detailing my error in leaving my locked up computer at work overnight. apparently, security sometimes patrols the cubes at night to see who has violated company 'i' policy and has left their computer on their desk. i don't know if there are any other ramifications or penalties for my transgression, but it's something to keep in mind. the next time you leave work at midnight, don't simply assume that you'll be the first person back to your cube. some thief or security guard could see it!
