at the movies

things i learned last night:

1. it is quite possible to sneak even large containers of food into a movie theatre if you have a heavy jacket.

2. movie theatres don't really check to see if you're in the right theatre. with this knowledge, one can watch a second movie upon the conclusion of the first movie. not that i would ever advocate such a thing, but i'm just saying...

i saw king kong last night and thought it was jaw dropping and over the top. the whole movie was a bit too long and even some of the fight scenes were a bit long-winded, but overall, it was a worthwhile experience. a must see, if only for the cool CG effects.
